Susan Arnot Heaney joined Avon in 1997 and has worked for both the Avon Foundation (a public charity) and Avon Products, Inc., focused since 2006 on Corporate Responsibility for the company.  

Heaney develops and implements global mobilization and fundraising programs in support of Avon’s corporate responsibility agenda.  Her main focus is the Hello Green Tomorrow environmental program and efforts such as the Paper Promise, Palm Oil Promise and Green Building Promise that advance Avon’s journey of constant improvement.

She is also responsible for the Avon Corporate Responsibility Report and reporting to stakeholders on goals, metrics and performance.

Heaney has also played a leadership role in programs such as the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade, Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, Speak Out Against Domestic Violence, Avon Hello Tomorrow Fund and Avon Running Global Women’s Circuit.

She is a member of the Executive Forum of the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship, the Chief Responsibility Officer Association and the Board of the Cosmetic Executive Women Foundation.

Heaney is a graduate of the College of William & Mary in Virginia.  She and her husband enjoy historic homes in New York City and Long Island, and are proud to have never owned a car.
